What a difference a pillow makes!

It's heating up here in Southern Maryland and we just received a shipment of fun new pillows for summer!

You never know where inspiration comes from

When looking for design inspiration, don't ignore an over-the-top, seemingly not your style room. Case in point, this room is colorful, graphic and a bit crazy.

 But, at Traditions of Loveville we can take these bits of inspiration and apply them to your own home for a unique look.

This porcelain lamp isn't just a lamp, its a piece of art!

Try a graphic print that is similar to inspiration wallpaper.

Add in an Asian style mirror.

Not Your Granny's Wing Chair

Who said wing chairs had to be stuffy? A talented Traditions of Loveville design client certainly didn't. She utilized Lee Industries' fabric application page to customize a pair of chairs for her family room.

The end result: Fabulous!

Inspiration Room

Ever wonder how you can get that magazine look in your own home? Below is a picture from House Beautiful's Fabulous Foyers slide show. Here is how we take items from our store (or products available for special order) and recreate this casual elegant room.

The inspiration room has a floral wallpaper similar to this Thibaut print.



For a casual feel, we chose this sheer linen curtain instead of repeating the floral pattern.  




Instead of the skirted entry table, try this whimsical piece.




The scale of this lamp is perfect for an entry way.

 

These cherry blossom branches aren't quite as dramatic as the inspiration room, but just as fun!



This geometric pattern runner adds texture to the room.
